The Barnhouse Studio

For the 1st time we have bought 2 portion mix rice (takeaway) from The Barnhouse Studio. According to them its very enough for two person. But once we open it, we have noticed this is not enough for one person even. Even price also very high. Not recommended for the anyone. This price can be an acceptable if we are dining their. But for the takeaway this is not an acceptable price while very bad crisis happening in Sri Lanka. These type of places are taking advantage of crisis which is currently having on Sri Lanka. Please note even this is not a five star or three star category. Very disappointed. There are more restaurant located in Panadura for takeaway. We can recommend Al-Maas Indian Restaurant, King N Thai, Buddhi Restaurant, Lakrasa, etc. Don't let it allow to get advantage from crisis for this kind of places.

Nature and the environment around this place is heart touching. And the wooden theme of this place is very very exciting. They had great quality food is lots of varieties.

In closer to Colombo, this is an excellent venue for a corporate and wedding event.

We went here for a day trip and like the ambiance as well as the customer service provided by the staff. Mr. Sameera (Operations Manager) and his colleagues gave exceptional customer service during the day. Their cuisine is very delicious, and the manner they serve it on the outside is truly authentic.

I'd like to revisit this location soon.

Best place to hangout and get relaxed.
The place is created with the nature and creativity which mixed together to make a perfect location. Food is great there. Also their Passion Mocktail was great like a heaven. You must try their Passion Mocktail if you wanna go there.

Also u can celebrate ur special day like a birthday or anniversary there. They can make a special table for even lunch or for dinner if u can make a reservation before u visit there.

Located in Kiriberiya, Panadura, it provides all services and facilities that are wedding related. Aside from this, the Barnhouse Studio is also a design gallery, a design store and a creative library full of concepts and ideas. This enables it to offer facilities needed to host fashion shows, Beauty pageants, Commercials, TV shows etc.

The structure itself is based around the idea of an Old English Barnhouse, and each element found on the premises is architecturally crafted in synchronization with the theme.

Picturesque place for the outdoor wedding. Uniq place to have tour special day. Good staff. Good service. Good food. If you choose barnhouse for your wedding, don’t get the free room provide by them. I will not recommend the rooms of them. Other services are good. Banquet manager and other staff will provide a better service to your special day.

Great friendly staff, plenty of parking, good road conditions and tasty food. This place is a combination of a lot of things, it has two reception halls, a few chalets, a pool and a restaurant. Adding photos of the small reception hall for now.

It's an amazing venue for events, both large scale and for smaller groups. Love the ambience and setting.

Came here for a day out and the experience was excellent. Food is great and there are plenty of outdoor activities to engage in, for adults as well as kids. The staff is friendly, helpful and attentive. Great ambience and the overall design of the place is well thought out and beautifully built. The wash rooms in the guests' rooms could be a little more maintained though.

Speeking very frankly even though i ranked 5 stars we had to face some issues during the wedding function of my sister. But i rated 5 star because of their promt actions to make things right which should be highly appriciated. Specially Mr. Amjad who helped us a lot. How ever as a banquet place hope they have to improve on food. Other than food everything was up to the satisfactionary level.

Around one hour drive from Colombo in regular traffic. Access through narrow roads. Nice location, in the middle of the a rubber estate. Well maintained and clean, including rooms and bathrooms. Spacious car park at the entrance. All the rooms constructed with pallet wood work, gives a different view. Tasty food but some got little over salted. You can play some game in courts. Pool also maintained well. Friendly staff.

We selected The Barnhouse to spend the Sinhala New year's night.
Surround was fabulous. We felt like we were really at an American farm house. It's wow. All meals were tasty and classy. We got a great chance to have all meals in room. Chalet arrangement also was really good. Highly recommended!

Footpath from parking area to the banquet hall is unsafe at night and could result in guests injuring their feet.

Nice location but no following of proper health guidlines. Due to the nature of wooden surfaces, it is impossible to properly sanitize tables and chairs. Sufficient hand washing or sanitizer not provided. If someone want their event to follow health guidlines.this may not be the place.

Very interesting place for a get way from busy life. Very good environment. Clam and quiet place, very good service, perfect place for small events.

Yes the place is awesome. But over valued for normal people (it may ok for rich people)
Please add a sample photo of the food you provide on the menu. I had small amount of bread and huge amount of salad for my sandwich.
Presentation is really nice.
