This place is simply the best! We fell in love with this property right at the entrance, where we were warmly welcomed by the very pleasant security officer at the entrance. The front office staff were so welcoming and the entire staff looked thrilled to have us around during our entire stay!
I have no words to explain the beauty of the view of castlereigh reservoir you'll get to see through the balcony of each chalet at this property. It's simply breathtaking and so dreamy that you could stare at it all day.
As a couple traveling with a baby, we needed help with preparing the baby meals, and the hotel was more than happy to help!
The meals were served Ala carte and they were delicious!
What made this stay memorable was the surrounding! The calmness and the serenity is just unexplainable. No matter whether you are a local or a foreigner, you'll be treated alike and at their best, with same respect, care and love.

This is actually a really nice place. The views are amazing and the rooms are very clean. The service is amazing too, everyone was extremely nice. We kayaked and that was one of the best kayaking experiences I’ve had. Mahinda came with us in a seperate kayak to ensure our safety and took some really nice pictures. Ravindra was super helpful during the whole stay.

We are just back from an absolutely amazing holiday. The place is very beautiful overlooking the lake. Plenty of spots outside to enjoy the outdoors. Rooms are spacious in the bungalow and fabulous service by the staff. Especially Justin who was most cooperative with our Vegetarian meal options. Def a place to go back to.

Only one suggestion to the hotel, please put a cover on the room side where the birds nests are as we can see things dropping out to the room and the balcony.

One of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. The location was stunning. We put aside a day of sight seeing just so we could relax in our beautiful room overlooking the water. And the service from Raj was amazing. Thank you.

EXPTIONAL if u r looking for relaxation n calmness, dont miss this place. The location, the view of the lake n mounts r killing. Facilities r not bad n services is best but there food isnt bad. Raju n Yoga were helpful n welcoming, we had a ride at the boat n bikes there is no pool.

Actually I went to the place to do kayaking only, once I reached the property on the spot me and my family decided to stay because of the beauty of location, luckily got the only one vacant chalet

We absolutely loved our 2 night stay here, and would come back. It’s exactly the peaceful and tranquil spot we needed after a hectic year, and Raju specifically made sure we had everything we needed and made our stay even more special. Definitely get the lake view suite - having breakfast and dinner in our space with that view was one of the highlights of the trip.

They were also really accommodating, for 2 weeks trying to get us tickets to Ella in a train that was sold out. They managed to do it the night before, and we can’t thank them enough for that.

It’s a quiet place. Tranquility at its best. Great food and the food is served outside at request. Kayaking and cycling available at extra cost. Recommend for those who love calm and quiet atmosphere.

You can ride bicycles and enjoy the view. However we were not allowed to do the fire camping near the lake…

Went here for lunch, We had rice and curry and it was out of the world. Very tasty and fresh.

Had an amazing two nights in a triple room, and as the one on the extra bed absolutely no complaints whatsoever! The room was cosy, well stocked, and the bathroom amenities were standard resort style. Special thanks to Justin for his excellent customer service- he's an amazing butler who went out of his way at every opportunity to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breathtaking view from our chalet overlooking the mountains and the reservoir is unparalleled. There are multiple viewpoints to sit and take it all in but the benches near Chalet 1 were my favourite. Each meal was a set menu with multiple courses but with a variety of options each day and they were extremely accommodating of our dietary restrictions and adjusted accordingly each time. My compliments to the Executive Chef, who introduced himself to us on our first night- the food was superb. All the staff gave us a warm welcome, on our second day we went kayaking after lunch along with a guide. I highly recommend this activity as someone who was apprehensive at first, it is definitely worth the view and experience! I will definitely be recommending this property to my friends and family because I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Thank you so much Farm Resorts!

Good location to relax and you can't have such a nice view from any other hotels in the area.
Raju's service is exceptional was trying to delight guests with his highest level of attention. Unfortunately the Manager Incharge (GM) learned he is a new guy, doesn't seems to be customer friendly person. Doesn't care customers and not even smiles with guests while at the restaurant.
This required to be corrected immediately to attract more repeating guests
Food doesn't have much of a variety but tasty.

Very nice rooms overlooking the lake. The place was managed well and kept up. The staff were all top notch. Great value for us Americans. They even assigned us a butler named Raju who looked after our needs and explained some of Sri Lanka's history. Stay was a 10/10

Great Experience!

We stayed for two nights at the Farm Resorts, and it was awesome.

Raju is the perfect host you can ask for. Very friendly and hospitable.

Food was great too. They have a variety of food we can choose from. We tried many of them, and we have no complaints! We loved it.

Do try Kayaking as well. It was a great experience. The guide, Mahinda will guide you and also takes good photos.

Overall, considering the price and the service we received, this is a great place to visit and relax.

Located in a very scenic and peaceful place. Food is good. Rooms are nice and comfortable. There is room to improve the quality of rooms.

It is very beautiful and a breathtaking place. When it comes to scenery this is one of the best locations around the Hatton. The food is also amazing they give the right quantities and don't overdo it, very simple. These days we have to preserve food so they don't try to waste it. The staff is very helpful specially butler Raju who is very friendly and did a great job during our two days stay.
