New Delmon Hospital

I went yesterday for an appointment.first thing receptionists wants to talk the language they need.they started talking in tamil.when i say i cannot understand she still talked in tamil.then when i go to the washroom in ground floor, not cleaned at all.floors are slippery. As im pregnant i stepped very carefully.cannot sit on the commods.wet and dirty.toilets were not cleaned for ages.bad smell, and no toilet rolls.after we sit infront of the channeling counter we had to tell to switch on the fans.the switches were behind the receptionist, without standing from her chair she is calling another worker to switch on the fan (the recrptionist who had gold makeup on her eyes and nose also) Just the make up she had. A very lazy woman i have ever seen! Thr time was only 7.30am.not crowded even. If they cannot treat one person well how can they handle when it is crowded. I decided not to channel any doctors at Delmons hospitals here after.that is the worst experience i've ever had in a private hospital.

I had the worst experience.we consulted Dr. Rani Sidhambarampillai. The attitude of the doctor was too high. She is So rude. She pretended to be treating patients for free. She does not support patients.and scolding for a small mistake. Management should be concerned about this.

This is a worst service provider in private hospitals in Colombo which do not have enough doctors to provide proper treatment to the patients.last night I went there for an emergency treatment i would like to inform you that proper medicine was not provided to the patient please do not go if anyone is in an emergency situation

The worst hospital in Colombo. Third grade, non-courteous reception staff who do not have the basic courtesy and knowledge how to handle customers and emergency situations. Do not ever go here. Even if you or your relatives are dying do not take them here. They will make the patient wait and die outside, because they are not ready to come and check the patient until you pay the bill. And, they so shamelessly take money for treatments they never give. The doctors they have are also equally money-greedy. Prof. J. Indrakumar is a wonderful example of a money-eater who charges for treatments he doesn’t do, who also happens to work for this Third grade hospital. He comes in slow cat walk to check the emergency patient who is in the car. And.tells " I cannot check him. Please go to another hospital". And, charges a lofty 2500. This charges are for asking us to go to another hospital without doing anything. Guess they do not get enough patients so just want to grab all from whoever comes. Highly Disapprove of this third grade doctor and this third grade hospital.

I went for my babys delivert last Thursday. Very poor service. My baby was given to me to be fed two hours after the birth. Nurses didnt even attend me though i asked several times to feed my baby. They act like government hospital staffs. Never ever go back for a another delivery or recommend this hospital to anyone else.

Worst hospitality and poor treatment in Colombo. Not a good service in channeling a doctor. Not recommended

Really disappointed with the way the receptionist who is in the channelling behave today (28th December at 8 p.m)
She is an old woman but doesn't know how to treat people.

Worse experience. Nurses aren't attending properly. Doing their works taking their own times. Doctors aren't punctual. Service is very bad. Washrooms aren't clean very disgusting.

The worse hospital in Sri Lanka. No customer care. Doctor's not coming at time. So frustrating. Nurse are so unprofessional. My opinion Please don't come.

Very poor service. Nursing staff have very poor knowledge, skills and experience. Patients have to wait for hours.

My son was born in this hospital. Nursing officers were so friendly and supportive. VOG Dr Akbar's service was great.
But the lady doctor who was in charge of the maternity ward was so rude. She behaved like a typical lady. She was scolding and used indecent words inside the labour room. I think the management should not recruit these types of doctors. Felt like we were in a government hospital when she was scolding.

Very poor Customer service and this is the first hospital I saw that vehicles of the patients also charged for parking.

Evening OPD lady doctor service is terrible, very rude and threatening manar, working for financial target of the hospital administration. As many said here parking also a problem. Under a Bad management for a long time. Good location but bad service.

But just an opd doc was there, and that lady doc had no skills to handle a very tensed situation, staffs were giving openions.

Staffs and doc were having issues.

And in that very high tensed situation, they wanted to pay the payment

Then when i thought leave to another hospital with no point wasting time in there, they asked me to pay another amount even though they know i m in a hurry!

Money isnt the matter there but the patient!

Management should be aware of these Very poor service!

Very bad experience. The receptionist at the dermatology unit has no patience. Had to call several times to get full details.

I went for a TSH test for my newborn to delmon yesterday the 10th of November 2023 at 7pm, I made the payment as usual and got the receipt, they asked me to wait, after a while they asked me to go to the 2nd floor, they told me to wait in the reception while they took my baby into a room, I tried entering the room but they forced me to wait out, I could hear my baby screaming, I tried looking through the door I could see around 4 nurses sorrounding my baby and I could see them injecting many places on my baby's body, I was so upset and afraid didn't know what to do because my husband was not with me, when I asked a nurse who was outside why he's crying so much and they injecting him with the needle in many places she said that's how they do it and she was very rude, what's the difference between a government hospital and a private hospital, after around 10min they brought the baby back saying they couldn't find the nerve, their experienced nurse is not available and she will be available tomorrow and asked me to come back tomorrow to take the blood. How can they do this, aren't these nurses sane? If they had told me at first before injecting my baby around so many places that their experienced nurse is not available I would have definitely gone back and come the next day. Plz who ever reads this spread this news to other moms, these nurses are insane, I would like to make a complaint to the authorities and take a proper action to this. I don't want this happening to any other little baby ever.

It's very very very worst experience in this hospital actually am wasting my time and my cash.it's to bad treating as a passion.receptionist don't no how to behave front of people.and doctor don't no how to caring passion

Good for nothing hospital! Don't take yourself or your loved ones if you actually do love them!

- Poor staff, both knowledge and attitude
- Most of the doctors who consults here are not the best
- Lack of medical resources, such as tools or materials so they try to manage with what they have which could be quiet dangerous
- Rooms and washrooms don't feel very clean, specially the smell it gives hence the prices are much cheaper
- Don't take a chance with this hospital if you have any serious health issues!
