New Delmon Hospital

The worse hospital in Sri Lanka. No customer care. Doctor's not coming at time. So frustrating. Nurse are so unprofessional. My opinion Please don't come.

Caring, friendly staff. I come to this hospital because of my family physician. Hospital charges overall are very reasonable. 24 hour nursing service, cleaning service in the ward I stay is very good compared to some popular hospitals my family had stayed. For my requirements emergency service was good.

Please let me know if you offer a short term Medical Scheme for Sri Lankans living abroad who visit Sri Lanka on holiday, say to cover Physical exam, Pressure check, blood tests any cold cough fever etc.
Period from 30- 90 days.

Worst service…

1) No proper response from receptionist
2) doctors not in time
3) hospital is not clean
4) parking is always full

The worst hospital in Colombo. Third grade, non-courteous reception staff who do not have the basic courtesy and knowledge how to handle customers and emergency situations. Do not ever go here. Even if you or your relatives are dying do not take them here. They will make the patient wait and die outside, because they are not ready to come and check the patient until you pay the bill. And, they so shamelessly take money for treatments they never give. The doctors they have are also equally money-greedy. Prof. J. Indrakumar is a wonderful example of a money-eater who charges for treatments he doesn’t do, who also happens to work for this Third grade hospital. He comes in slow cat walk to check the emergency patient who is in the car. And.tells " I cannot check him. Please go to another hospital". And, charges a lofty 2500. This charges are for asking us to go to another hospital without doing anything. Guess they do not get enough patients so just want to grab all from whoever comes. Highly Disapprove of this third grade doctor and this third grade hospital.

The worst hospital I have ever visited… 5th August 2021 around 11: 30PM I was vomiting and high fever, my cousin took me to admit to the hospital. Straightaway nurses we asked me to stay outside for antigen test… I wasn’t fit to stay outside due to cold. The one who does antigen came in after 40 mins and took the antigen test and it was horrible experience and I don’t want to explain it here. I never had this painful test anywhere, after the antigen we asked what’s the results and the don’t want to say the results… around 1: 45 they came up with a positive results… I would not recommend anyone to go in here in case of emergency….

Worst Channeling Service Ever & today Stole my Helmet in the Parking but they are Not Responsible & no Cares

Very poor service. Nursing staff have very poor knowledge, skills and experience. Patients have to wait for hours.

Comfortable rooms but unfortunately not all rooms are air-conditioned and no television. The nursing staff are great and very attentive to all details. The rooms are not equipped with hot water. The food is very cold and bland. They don't provide any utensils. It could very expensive depending on illnesses. Parking is limited, there is wheel chair access on the side of the building.

I went for my babys delivert last Thursday. Very poor service. My baby was given to me to be fed two hours after the birth. Nurses didnt even attend me though i asked several times to feed my baby. They act like government hospital staffs. Never ever go back for a another delivery or recommend this hospital to anyone else.

My son was born in this hospital. Nursing officers were so friendly and supportive. VOG Dr Akbar's service was great.
But the lady doctor who was in charge of the maternity ward was so rude. She behaved like a typical lady. She was scolding and used indecent words inside the labour room. I think the management should not recruit these types of doctors. Felt like we were in a government hospital when she was scolding.

Good management in the Delmon hospital and they treated the patients very well and the doctors and the nurses also treat the patients very well. Really appreciated for their service which is given for the patients

Went to the OPD to get a vaccine that I had purchased at a pharmacy. Got the same vaccine given to me a month ago at Ceymed hospital for just 250/= just for injecting services only. When I walked into Delmon I inquired how much it would be to administer the shot. They said it would be a small amount and I believed them and went ahead. The nurse who was at the OPD had never heard of the vaccine's name and had to call a doctor over the phone to ask whether she could give me this. This took over 10 minutes to clarify even though my own doctor had given me a clear prescription. Finally after getting the shot they charged me 750/=.
250/= for opd and 500/= for hospital charges. Told them a piece of my mind and vowed never to return there. Daylight robbery.

Worst management ever I saw. No proper time management. They ask patients to come on different time and gives the appointment time different (normally 2 to 3 hours later from the time patients are asked to come). It causes patients inconvenience some times makes patients irritated. Mainly the doctors are not responsible who never think about the precious time of us.

Really poor service, i want to opd, it was bad experience to me when i am sick, stafs are not nice, service is so poor like a government hospital, i never recommend to any one.

The cashier was not wearing the mask properly. Felt very uncomfortable because of it, not only me there were few others who noticed this as well.

Channelling service support is like bus conductor with hurry. I have bad experiance when I want to book via the phone.

New Delmon Hospitals located in Colombo 06 is running with poor facilities and most of the patients have diagnosed wrongly.
The hospital management is greedy about the money but no patient care also they stop the patients to move to better hospitals.
Their ICU is with basic equipments and the most of the nurses are not professionals and qualified.
Most of the people complain about all the issues to management but it's like throwing things to the black hole no update.

UNSATISFACTORY SERVICE
First of all I found your receptionist to be rude and unfriendly. After being put on hold for over 10mins I was greeted by a unprofessional employee. I had to wait for more than 15mins to place an appointment. I can tolerate 5mins delay but not 15mins.what is the whole point of taking appointment then?
if she is not given proper training on how to deal with the patients/customer I am sure your hospital will suffer! Better to visit government hospitals.
