My washing machine broke down yet again. Due to the Covid lockdown I was expecting a delay of 4-5 days. I informed them that it was urgent. Mt Barath - the manager called me and the repair was carried out on premises the very next day by an excellent service person Ruwan. Overall extremely satisfied. Well done Abans.

My Washing machine broke down and after an initial delay of over 2 weeks I spoke to Ms. Regina who immediately got to work on my case, setup the visit, sent the technician Ruwan who was very helpful and resolved the issue within 1 day. I was extremely impressed with the service. Ms. Regina even contacted me after the fix to see whether everything was completed correctly. Next time I plan to open the issue and chase it up with Ms. Regina directly. Thanks once again.

My fridge is not cooling. The technician has been in to see it once put it in few small spare parts but the fridge has stopped cooling after 3 days. Now I am waiting for Abans to fix it again. If the job wasn't completed then this should be of priority and urgency. When will it be done? Very frustrating

Disappointed
My washing machine broke down and I asked for help from them on 14th September. They gave a reference number promising to call and visit. Today is 6th October and no representative phoned. I am left with a reference number only.

Update: Today is 11th October and still no response from the Galle branch. Phones hardly work and when they connect, promise to visit the next day but never visit

The response from Galle Branch is very very poor. Beware!

Poor service from cashier.the guy who gave me the product was very helpful. It took me more than an hour and half to buy the product.

The Abans 18inch stand fan I bought in May stopped working and I took it to the Center. The Custermer service officer Miss. Regina, took it for service and updated me after 5 working days and informed they have to replace new one as the old one is not in repairing condition. She gave back the old one with a Delivery order and she checked after 3 days and I informed her I didn't receive it. She took care of that and I received a new one. She even called me back after 5 days asked about the condition of the fan. Good and caring service I experienced in Srilanka. Thank you Abans.

Parking is available only for 3 vehicles. Taking longer to fix. Update 16 October 2021 - Came from homagama as the abans branch not accepting any items for repairing. I have to Wait on Gall road (Pavement) for 20 minutes to get a parking spot. The process is worse than my last visit. No proper queuing system. On my visit, a lady (very disappointed) who has got around 7 high-value appliances bought from abans (as per her) gave a mouth full of lecture to a manager in the service center. You seriously need to focus on customer service. Staff needs to be more friendly. As a reputed company, Move your service center to a place that customers can come without any struggle for your service.

Very bad service. Made a complain on 18 oct. No follow up upto date. Today is 11 Nov. I called several times. Giving false info. Keeping me on hold for 29.mins or more. Never call back. We should stop buying abans products. I.will never promote abans product in future. Improve your service.

I did not find my laptop for 3 months after sending it. Instead of my 144hz display I was sent a fake 60hz display.

My refrigerator broke down in june 2021, (reference no: HOLGRF250621F0168) and I have been calling and requesting for a technician for over 2 months, nevertheless non have been responsive. They give false assurance and keeps postponing indefinitely. Really bad service.

Worst customer service in sri lanka. Staff are incompetent at best. Would never recommend. Avoiding from buying goods from abans due to this.

I highly do not recommend this Abans service centre wellawatta. Its been over 3 weeks since I have requested to repair my refrigerator. We paid Rs. 16000. Always lieing to the customer and giving wrong information by Mr. Thennakoon. They just need the payment only. My job no is HOLGFR190721F068

Bought 3 laptops from abans and they have been causing issues monthly. Sent to the service center and the customer service was appalling. First they messed up the job number and gave me some other person's laptop without even checking. We pointed it out and then they took over an hour to check for our laptop. Finally said it was still being repaired and will be ready in 20 minutes. We come back half an hour later and the technicians have gone for lunch and said couldn't give the laptop. Ishani and madhawa were handling it and they were next to useless. They are ruining the name and experience. Would never recommend buying from abans or using this service center. Absolutely appealing services

Gave my micro wave oven to be repaired but they didn't bother to call me back. I had to call them several times to get the things done. U have to wait outside under the sun till your turn come as due to covid restrictions. Very slow but they do the job. It kook 18 days to repair but no one bother to call back. I tried hotline once you selected the homewear nobody pics up I had to call the AC section and asked them to put through. But ms shafna helped me to get the things done even she is belongs to a department.
If you handover to the showroom it will take ages to get your goods delivered.

Worst customer care experience ever. It's been more than 2 months since they delivered the Washing machine and it's been leaking since the day 1. I have called them more than 15 times and they always promise to send a technician following day but never sent. Do not recommend at all. Disgusted by the whole experience.

Complain එක දාලා මාසයකට පස්සේ technician ආවේ, ඇවිල්ලත් කිසි දෙයක් බැලුවේ නෑ සල්ලිත් අරන් ගියා. ඒ ගෙනිහින් අදට මාසයක් වෙන්න එනවා කිසි ප්‍රතිචාරයක් නෑ.

Bought a 2 Burner gas stove in May 2021, withing 2 months one burner was busted. Such poor QUALITY product. Never ever reccomend ABANS to anyone. Might as well pay a higher price and buy quality products from somewhere else. When I went to collect the item as I was informed though a phone call along with a text msg, service agents says that the item cannot be collected as their systems is down. I do understand these incidents could occure in such instances, but they must have a methodology to release the items that have been repaired already. Theres no point turning back the customer and asking to come back later. In my case I was heading to work and I had to drive a long way towards their service centre early morning in bad traffic. Please keep your promise on your customers, if not please dont be in business!

Very good effort made by call centre supervisor Navoshi Perera. She solved a problem that wasn’t handled by anyone else for over three weeks. Was very disappointed in Abans until she handled my case and got the technical team to come one day later to fix my a/c. I believe the technical team is lying to the rest of the abans team by saying they are calling customers and then saying the customers aren’t answering their phones and that’s why they aren’t going for repairs. Please see to it that this is rectified. Again, great effort by Navoshi Perera to quickly fix my problem and to handle it respectfully.

It's almost two weeks since I made a request to repair the refrigerator they have still not come to collect the item. Their after service is frustrating
